Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [4th - 10th May 2018]

Just add Huddersfield to the pet hates in football thread, they've displayed most of the things I hate about football in a single game.

lmfao Mason is a shocker, an absolute shocker.

Real shame for the PL to have Huddersfield stain it for another season.

Incredible for a club of Huddersfield's size to get promoted and then to stay up.

And to stay up by not losing to Man City and Chelsea too. They must have looked at the table, looked at the fixtures and thought, bugger. But to be fair to them, I wouldnt have said they would do anything but lose to Man City and Chelsea , both away.

Just realise Man City can hit 100 points in 1 season !

Its been quite a high point year in all the Divisions for the leaders really...

Accrington in League Two with 93 pts
Wigan and Blackburn in League One with 98 and 96pts
Wolves in the Championship with 99pts.
Man City in the Premier League with maybe 100.

Does seem that this year, the title winning teams have won by hefty tallies.

I hope they do, it’s an amazing achievement, especially with the goal difference they have. Same GD as the points of the 2nd place team. Maybe next year they should only let City have a point per GD :D

Certainly the best PL team I have ever seen. Shame they couldn’t win the CL to top it off but it’s not often the best team in Europe wins that anyway, or even the best in the winners domestic league, I think to win both is such a huge under taking.
