1-0 FT

Will take that but can't help but feel it's an opportunity missed. Knackered from the weekend having played most of the match with 10 men, missing key players and we could only win 1-0. Hope it doesn't bite us in the ass in two weeks.

Glen Johnson's tackle there was about 5 times worse than Vincent Kompany's (Johnson flew through the air with both feet together) and he didn't even get a yellow.

Referees = absolute joke.

Complete replay of the utd game bar the goals. Liverpool good in the 1st half and us putting them under pressure the 2nd.

How on earth Johnson got away with that i don't know but that is beside the point, we should have done better tonight with injuries or no injuries.

City wont win at Anfield, Liverpool could have scored more tonight though Savic was there for the taking

Absolutely retarded tactics stepping our foot off, we looked like the only ones who could score for a good while, and would have had more as many have said Savic was very vulnerable.

Don't know how Gerrard/Adam weren't booked or Johnson sent off for that drop kick :p

Maybe that little kick Carragher gave Nasiri might make him do something for once.

Good first half, very strange but ultimately effective 2nd half and a good result.

I really don't know what we were thinking with our subs in the 2nd half. I thought it was strange to switch to 5 at the back so early but to play Johnson as the 3rd centre back was madness; he didn't even know where to stand. And when we brought Carra on, I don't think anybody knew where they were meant to be playing. That said, other than a header from a corner and a silly mistake from Kelly, we stopped City creating anything.
