Oh yeah take note Downing, Sterling can happily track back and run to the other side of the pitch and tackle you useless waste of money nob.

I'd have welbeck here, needs games and patience, but there is a decent player in there. However Manu have all but ended his career nailing him to a £75kpw contract meaning no one (level he should be playing at) will go near him.

Also when you've had Rooney there for years, the likes of Berbatov as backup and nor RvP he's on a hiding to nothing.

Not good enough from us today. Stoke push the rules to the limits but we should have done more than we did. Some of the decision making from some of our players was baffling; for the last 30 minutes Gerrard seemed intent on crossing the ball from deep every time he got the ball and predictably Suarez, Sterling, Suso/Cole didn't have a great deal of joy against Huth and Shawcross.

The worst part of today was the decision by Rodgers to bring Cole on though. Rodgers was quick (and right) to question Downing's fight and commitment but Cole's 10x worse. Within 5 minutes of being on the pitch he was bent over with his hands on his knees, putting no pressure on Stokes defense.

1659:

Possible reasons why Liverpool keep hitting the woodwork:

1. Because hitting the post looks quite cool.

2. Some sort of magnet system sneakily installed by Everton fans.

3. The goal frame has let itself go and got a bit fat.

4. They're shooting isn't quite accurate enough.
:p

No idea if that's in or not, it's VERY close and I wouldn't have blamed the linesman calling that either way to be honest it was so close.
