Time for Carrick to slow the game down in an attempt to send West Ham players to sleep. Master plan.
Carrick warming up, you would think Rooney would be coming off but no doubt it will be Herrera.

I know knocking Rooney is the thing to do and admittedly he's not played well but Herrera has been ****ing anonymous.
He's passed the ball and the ball has reached it's target, that's why you haven't noticed him. Other than that cross for the Rashford chance Rooney has broken up 90% of our very limited attacks.

Rooney: 37 passes - 78.4% accuracy - 1 key pass
Herrera: 22 passes - 54.6% accuracy - 0 key passes.

That must be why we have all these comments about Herrera losing the ball....wait.
There is a person in our technical area (though not the manager or assistant). Must be serious.
That's clearly because it's the to do thing to criticise Rooney. The stats speak for themselves. Herrera has got on the ball far less and when he has, he's given it away far more often.
A cm misplacing nearly half his passes is terrible.
