About time we got this going. Feel like Liverpool should be strong favourites coming into this game. Liverpool show up for the big games and city really don't. Liverpool's whole style should favor them with city's slower pace possession style attack leaving them open to a quick counter. Maybe a draw but going to say Liverpool by a goal. Maybe 2-1 or 3-2

I expect a high scoring game and fancy our chances were lethal on break if given chance

We are but I wouldn't expect city to give us as much space at the back as some teams have recently. That and their forwardline is ridiculous and well put defence...well isn't.

That's why I can see it being high scoring, there defence isn't great and now kompany is out may be worse, kompany usual gives them composure they have always struggled when he isnt in the back line.

Forwards wise imo were pretty equal. They will have more options from bench though which could change it

Yeah. Moreno has indeed impressed but he'll be bombing up the pitch leaving Klavan to deal with their very competent attack down the flank by himself.

Having said that, I've just read Klopp's comments about Lovren so it's probably just about playing the fittest players today because it'll be a very high paced game. Robertson also played every minute of Scotlands qualifiers and Moreno didn't play any so that again makes sense.

TAA's having a shocker so far, looks way out of his depth today.

Edit: 1-0 City. So so easy, straight through the middle FFS. Klavan a mile behind the line, ****ing clown.

Nice finish, way too easy, fantastic pass to set it up though. KDB is City's most important player, 18 assists last year and with a dodgy as hell defence they need to outscore the opposition.

Surely as a defender you must realise you're too deep when you see the CB partner 10 yards ahead of you? It was such a basic error to make yet it won't be the last time he does that.
