As much as I hate Merson, he’s just made a good point about Liverpool should be scoring as many as they can in case goal difference comes into play. Couple of moments in that game a simple pass would have likely lead to another on the sheet.

City don’t usually mess around like that, still play the easy tap in, if they’re 3 or 4 nil up late game.
 
I'm not sure with 12 games to go you can start playing for goal difference. Obviously you'd want the side to be as clinical as possible but the most important thing is the result and performance. A comfortable 3-0 win was just what we needed today.

Everton are in a really tricky situation because they desperately need a period of continuity. They've got a squad made up of bits and pieces from 3-4 managers and sacking Silva is just going to lead to more money ending up wasted. The flip side of that is that Everton have fell off a cliff over the last couple of months and he doesn't look like he's able to turn things around.

I'm sure not many Evertonian's will agree but imo they need to find a way to make do until the summer and hope that in that period things pick up so that they don't need to sack him.
 
I was all for him, but to be fair I've lost patience with Silva over last 4 or 5 games. He really hasn't got a clue. He chops and changes his side every single game, doesn't seem to have A plan b either.

Everything is there for you. Great players, top coaching, team spirit, a manager who you can tell the players think the world of and actually play for 110%. Since Ole’s taken over, you haven’t even looked close to losing. Even the Burnley game, I always knew you’d pull that back.

The Utd board would be utter fools not to give him the job.
 
United scored two goals in the last 3 minutes against Burnley, they were very fortunate. He's done well since coming in but the fixtures couldnt have been better for him really, still, you have to beat them and he has. I dont think they will get to 65 points after 26 games mind you and thats what seems to be needed with City spending every summer.

ManU could easily lose to PSG and liverpool next week and the hype train could completely derail.

PSG 2nd leg, Arsenal and Man city not long after that aswell. Judge Ole in a months time.
