Had to laugh, it's all Owen's fault. He was all "with those three points Sunderland are safe, the 4 teams below them can't all get a result"...... he pigeon'd Sunderland

End of the season stuff where everyone who thinks they are safe/nothing to play for gives up. West Ham kept going just long enough to be safe, Newcastle thought they were safe and gave up WAY too early. Southampton have given up since top four became almost impossible.
