Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [9th - 11th November 2018]

Matic was carried by Kante in his last season at Chelsea, his performances last season were a bit better but often exaggerated, he's now being exposed almost weekly.

I haven't watched a game this season where he hasn't been caught out at least half a dozen times. The only question is whether the opposition score from his **** up or not. In the first game vs Juventus he was an utter joke. He just jogs around the middle of the pitch and lets his man walk past him. Hes genuinely cost us probably 6-7 goals this season.

That in particular is utter dross, Lindelof even points to Gundogan so you'd have to assume he has a word with him, Matic just minces out. Real schoolboy stuff.

We have a manager who wants to build on a solid foundation of defence but we have a **** defence and players who can't do even the very simplest of defensive jobs. Matic should never see the light of the first team again.

A few weeks ago I said we should review things after the game today with regards to Mourinho's future as manager.

While it's clear the players are indeed playing for him, and have some fight, tactically the entire squad is a total mess. Any positive result comes from things like Fellaini coming on as a sub, who is a one-man wrecking ball, that and set pieces.

It's really quite poor on the whole, I think Mourinho will get a bit longer but long-term I still don't think it will work out.

Feels like we're in limbo until a better manager and structure above him are put in place. This can't be allowed to continue next season.

De Gea on a good day could have probably kept the scoreline at 1-1 but it goes to show what happens when you're too reliant on your keeper and he has a bad day.

Took Arsenal until the 60th minute to start playing and were still lucky not to concede a late Wolves winner.

We looked so much better when Xhaka was moved out wide were he could do less damage to our team

Meh yet again another pretty lacklustre performance, thankfully Miki saved our blushes this time around.

We should have smashed Wolves off the pitch, it’s these games that we should be winning and not struggling to get a point etc. Even the other weekend against a crap Crystal Palace we struggled.

Anyhow one positive I take is that the team shows fight when we are down. Something that has been missing for yrs at Arsenal under Wenger.

Arsenal didn't deserve to get the draw, shocking football from every player in that team, it took until the 71st minute to have 1 shot on goal, joke.

Utd conceded 28 goals in the league last season and 29 the season before. After today they've conceded 21 in 12 games.

Today he was at fault for at least one goal but Utd's problem isn't him having bad days but not having amazing days.

If united didn't have degea they wouldn't of been in the champs league the past few years. Why he wants to stay there I don't know.
just running down his contract. manu can extend it for next season but thats it. 18 months or so and he can leave on a free. So manu probably need to sell him in the next 12 months
