If Stoke can stop Suarez they'll have the beating of us on Saturday. The teams geared towards getting the best out of Carroll and not only is he a complete waste of a shirt at the moment Stoke have the height to stop him anyway. Not looking forward to this game at all although it'll be a nice surprise if we get anything from the game.

Optimistic as usual :p

I seem to remember the players that are geared to getting the best out of Carroll playing excellent football the other week, when Carroll wasn't on the pitch. Stoke away is always going to be a difficult game but providing we defend well, we've got enough going forward to beat them regardless of whether Suarez is on song or not.

It'll be interesting to see how we're going to set up against them though. We went in with 3 at the back when we played them at Anfield under Dalglish last season, although it was possible we played like that with Chelsea in mind the following week. It wouldn't be that big of a surprise if we went in with 3 at the back again though, with maybe Henderson missing out.

I think we can beat Liverpool 1-0, Think we will score from a corner probably Huth. Suarez worries me but our defenders have the strength to maybe put him off his game. His pace worries me against woodgate.

Dont think Palacios will play because has hasnt trained yet, Jones isnt back from international duty with T&T until firday so its possible one of either Jerome or Crouch will start

I think Stoke have more to worry about then just stopping Suarez to be honest, Liverpool have looked really good going forward so far this season.

Interesting to see which of Arsenals signings walk straight into the team. Gervinho and Song are both suspended but Pingpong might be back. One match ban for two yellows right?

Would like to see

--------------------Hawkes-------------------
Sagna--------Per--------Kos----------Santos
----Ramsey------Pong---------Arteta--------
----Theo---------RvP-------------Ryo

Unlikely Ryo would get a start but I would like him be there. Maybe Young instead, it is Swansea for heavens sake.

Bench would be Fabianski, Jenkinson, Djourou, Chamakh, Rosicky, Benny, Arshavin.

Bolton gave us 2 very tough games last season, they were pretty useless against Liverpool and City though so fingers crossed we can chalke up another win

I'd go with

---------------De Gea---------------
Smalling--Ferdinand--Jones--Evra
Nani--Cleverley--Anderson--Young
---------------Rooney
------------------Hernandez

Subs: Lindegaard, Evans, Fabio, Carrick, Giggs, Park, Berbatov

Pretty much spot on.

Nobody gets an easy game at Stoke so I can see that being a close one.

Your always so optimistic about us arent you :p Well i think despite it being a difficult game we got a great chance for a win, suarez form is very good at the moment also if Bellamy plays he will be more than up for the fight with them.

Carroll should play also he should be able to battle back with stoke in the box etc. I just hope Stoke don't try injure too many of our players since there good at it! >.<

With Rio back there everyone will be more relaxed also, and hopefully play much more like Utd should be able to. With CL coming up on Wednesday (wooo hoooo), it will be interesting if selection for that has any baring on the Bolton selection

I think we will get some crap win there. it will be a poor game but will get the three points.

Jenks isn't available, got sent off, Sagna was still ill so didn't play with France, any other team I'd assume it was a cold, he got it well over a week ago, he should be back, Arsenal, I assume he got a cold, was due out for two days, then it got diagnose as the flu, and its a week, now they are thinking its actually cancer and he's out for 3 months.....

It wasn't clear but there was talk of a potential injury to Theo and if Wenger's learnt anything its that RVP should be rested, two games, euro traveling and games in the couple weeks before the international break.

Not sure about Rosicky either, played against Scotland, wasn't even on the bench against Ukraine was he......... bad sign?

International breaks fill me with utter dread as an Arsenal fan.

See what the team news is in a couple days, not sure it will be all that good.
