1-0 to Arshavin, but a complete joke, up to now we've been pretty rubbish, the worst shot of the year by Walcott, the worst throw of the ball in the history of football and a gift for Arsenal. We've created next to nothing, played poorly, looked very lacking in creativity, poor movement, getting stuck passing nowhere and Pong has been awful so far, a stupid freekick in a dangerous place......... again, overly aggressive, very poor passing.

Who stamped on Mata, nasty stamp, clear as day on the replay that he put force and aimed his foot, should have been a red.

Bardsley... theres a reason I can't stand the little mouthy dirty git.
 
HT 0-1 Stoke got away with so many many dodgey nudges tackles and Delap should be booked, We do any sort of contact and are punished instantly Ref = Loves Stoke mightaswell stick there shirt on

From us Adam has overall missed place more passes than he has got right, Suarez done his best of what he has had, Imo Take off Adam move Henderson to the middle Kuyt to right and bring on Carrol or Bellamy.

Still think we can score when/if we do should help us pick up
 
Penalty aside, we've not done much wrong. Dominated the half, had a few half chances and should have had a penalty for the handball. Didn't take our chances and 1 moment of stupidity from Carra and we're behind.

When Johnson and/or Kelly are fully fit, Carra shouldn't be in the side anymore.
 
Great half by chelsea. Only 1-0 but easily our best half of the season so far. Our movement is so much better now and mata has a lot to do with it.

Gotta partly agree Carra and many might disagree with us needs slowly bedding out of the team but i doubt it will ever happen untill he actually says im retiring after said season
 
1-0 Stoke HT

Awful game. We've had all the possession and done nothing with it. Downing and Henderson are literally redundant without Carroll in the team, Adams has done his level best to give the ball back to Stoke every time he's had it so it's fallen on Suarez to do everything by himself again.

Despite the dreadful anti-football pitch and time wasting Stoke have defended well and defended in numbers and don't look like conceding today.

Errorgher needs shooting.
 
Did I miss something, wasn't downing highly rated in the last couple games where........ Carroll hasn't played, same goes for England, yet a couple Liverpool fans keep saying Downing is useless without Carroll in the team?

I'm struggling to see where, between the last performance most people said was very good, the one before that, Downing became completely useless if Carroll wasn't playing?
 
Suarez is playing upfront on his own against Huth, Shawcross and a whole host of other monsters in the air. Downing and Henderson don't have anyone to aim at and even if they did Stoke have the height to deal with it.

We need to play through them on the floor but the grass is so long that's almost impossible.
