Ah another game to write off then get a draw from. Should have gotten something from United at home shouldn't really get anything from United away, just depends how the squad looks after our training week in Barcelona has left us (and if Lallana is match fit).

The big game is Saturday away at Wigan, can't wait for a trip there! (first and only time someone has been excited for visiting Wigan)

Team for Wednesday night...

---------------De Gea---------------
Rafael---Smalling---Vidic---Evra
Nani---Carrick---Cleverley---Kagawa
----------------RVP
----------------Welbeck

Subs: Lindegaard, Jones, Anderson, Scholes, Valencia, Hernandez, Rooney

I'd prefer to keep Ferdinand fit for Fulham away, think this will be a good game to hopefully get Welbeck a goal so Rooney on the bench again, Nani to continue on the right.

Newcastle must win tonight, upcoming games against Spurs and Chelsea where we will get nothing. Tonight's game is massive, we need to turn our season round sooner rather than later.

I hope we line up:
Krul
Debuchy - Mbiwa - Colo - Santon
Cabaye - Anita - Sissoko
Gouffran - Cisse - Marveaux

However I don't think Gouffran will start, and Gutierrez will. Also not sure if Mbiwa will start, but I hope to god Williamson is nowhere near starting tonight, please please please please.

Anyway I am still predicting a 3-1 win to Newcastle, COME ON LA TOON!!!!

Who would have thought after last season we would be praying for a result against Villa to stay out of the bottom three?

I knew the Europa League was going to impact our performance in the EPL and we could probably expect a mid-table finish but I would have never predicted it would be this bad. :(

Aston Villa: Guzan, Clark, Vlaar, Baker, Lowton, Westwood, Bannan, N'Zogbia, Bennett, Benteke, Bent. Subs: Given, Ireland, Agbonlahor, Holman, Bowery, Weimann, Lichaj.

France: Krul, Debuchy, Steven Taylor, Coloccini, Santon, Perch, Cabaye, Gouffran, Sissoko, Gutierrez, Cisse. Subs: Harper, Williamson, Anita, Yanga-Mbiwa, Bigirimana, Shola Ameobi, Sammy Ameobi.

Sunderland: Mignolet, Gardner, Bramble, O'Shea, Colback, Johnson, N'Diaye, Vaughan, Larsson, Sessegnon, Fletcher. Subs: Westwood, Bardsley, Wickham, Kilgallon, Mangane, McClean, Elmohamady.

Swansea: Tremmel, Tiendalli, Williams, Chico, Davies, Dyer, de Guzman, Britton, Hernandez, Shechter, Michu. Subs: Cornell, Bartley, Graham, Lamah, Routledge, Rangel, Ki.

Stoke: Begovic, Cameron, Shawcross, Huth, Whitehead, Whelan, Nzonzi, Adam, Etherington, Walters, Crouch. Subs: Sorensen, Jones, Owen, Upson, Wilkinson, Shotton, Jerome.

Wigan: Al Habsi, Golobart, Caldwell, Figueroa, Boyce, McArthur, McCarthy, Espinoza, Beausejour, Maloney, Di Santo. Subs: Robles, Jones, Henriquez, Gomez, McManaman, Stam, Mustoe.

Anyone got the QPR team? Apparently they are playing with 6 defenders and 2 goal keepers on the bench?!

QPR: Cesar, Onuoha, Nelsen, Hill, Traore, Mbia, Derry, Fabio, Granero, Taarabt, Remy.

QPR subs: Green, Park, Ben Haim, Zamora, Murphy, Faurlin, Bothroyd.

Interestingly QPR boss Harry Redknapp has named two goalkeepers - Rob Green and Brian Murphy - on the bench.
