Greeting card templates / designer

Looking to create my own multi photo greeting cards (instead of using Moonpig/Funky Pigeon).
Had a look at Canva, but the free templates are rubbish and I don't want to pay £100/year subscription for the premium stuff just to print out a few cards a year.

What recommendations do you guys have? I don't mind paying for a one off license fee.
Is Adobe Express any good for this scenario?

Have a look at Affinity designer/publisher they give a free trial and have a helpful forum.
