It doesn't even have a good rep in Newcastle where it was founded because everyone knows of the pedo.


Greggs isn't even tasty, surely no one goes "oh I'd love a greggs tastless dry pastry that's not even hot to avoid paying VAT."

they lioterally are no better quality than the same pastries you'd get in a supermarkets fridge section, apart from greggs are already as warm as a light bulb

I come from Newcastle, and live in the north east still. I'm frequently around Durham/Gateshead/Sunderland/Newcastle areas. There's a Greggs on every street corner and they're always packed with people, although god knows why given the rank state of the food.

I've never heard anyone mention the pedo, in fact I didn't even know about it until seeing your link. I can honestly say that the vast majority around here either don't know or care about it and will happily continue to stuff their faces with the stuff.
