Grey Goo (RTS)

I bought it, really good game. Definitely reminds me if command and conquer back in the day. Really polished, looks gorgeous and campaign is challenging.

I never played the multiplayer but did finish and enjoy the campaign.
It is perfect to scratch that command and conquer itch, ugh what I would do for a new command and conquer, guy can only replay kains wrath so many times!

I'm not a fan of the base building style. You start with a main base and can build 4 attachments (refinery, factory etc) then you can build 4 types of satellite bases but you have to start with the smallest that can have 2 attachments, up to the largest that can have 6.

I think this is the main thing I didn't like about it. I gave up but maybe I need to persevere some time.

Anyone still play this? I picked it up off rainy place for 6 quid with DLC. I have done a few missions so far and am enjoying it. Very C&C like which is exactly what I was looking for.

I thought it was great, and despite the unit caps and small maps, I actually enjoyed it more in SP than ashes of the singularity
