Grey Hair Dye

I'm in a theatre production at University of Much Ado About Nothing and have been cast as Leonarto.

Leonarto is meant to be an elder statesman in the production and as such I want to try and age myself as much as possible, I'm only 21.

I want to try and find some grey hair dye, but my googling so far has brought up nothing. Obviously not many people want to dye thier hair grey but there must be some sort of a niche market. I could buy grey hair spray but that stuff normally isn't all that good and destroys the hair after a few applications, and considering we're doing a five day run it'll be quite nasty come the last night.

Does any one know where I could purchase grey hair dye online, or infact any where?

Dye it black and then use something white to grey it out?

I also use the same old line at the barbers "cut all the grey out mate and leave me some hair and I'll give you £20"

Would a wig do? be easier, better on your hair and you could get a nice Elder Statesman looking one I'm sure?

My grandmother wanted some grey hair dye and the only place my mom could find the brand she wanted was at Selfridges. I'm sure there must be other brands available elsewhere but this is the only one i know about

They have one for females, so much be one for males.

I'd go for the chalk dust or some talcum powder - easier to get out afterwards and cheaper
