GRID Tonight

I'll play in about an hour (9:30ish).

As for the room thing I still think more people need to add GRID as a non steam game through steam, that way you get the Steam UI in game and can check server status in the OcUK chat room. It worked for three of us last night.

PS I'm trying to upload this video now, its been hours! If it's not done by 9 I'm gonna cancel it and do it overnight.

hours? u can make 20GB of video into 120MB we nice quality easy which should take no more then half a hour to upload

you nub :p

Its 200mb, I'd like to see you up that on 20kb/s in under an hour!

Anyway its done, it's not processed at the time of writing but it will be here.

Unfortunately I didn't think to start recording when we were all in the server, in fact this is the last session we had with only 4 or 5 people and towards the end we went into a public server. Didn't catch your ridiculous crash unfortunately. Oh and fraps never records audio so I had to throw some music in, I make no apologies.

Despite my terrible connection I was the host for a few games last night, did anyone get any lag? I don't mind setting her up.
 
may as well dude, i think ill be good to go tonight as well we hosting , the port you have to open is 3074 , which ive just done on my router but havent tested yet

EDIT:actually u host dog, make sure you post ** online username and use password: teapot

it was all fine for me till i installed v1.2 and use the cd crack then i couldn't get on jap tracks, use the actual cd or get a cd image for deamon tools and you'll be fine
 
you may have something here as installing 1.2 patch and me installing mod was done in same week. i typically assumed mod at fault. ill grab an image.
