thinking of buying Grid on PC

anything i should know about before buying it?

i love them game on PS3 just hoping there bad bugs that would stop me playing it with my sig spec.

its £15 if you know where i mean
it won't be hard to know which highstreet pruple store im on about
(is that against the rules??)

Pffff why are peoples keyboard skills on ocuk so **** ? Playing Grid or TDU or whatever game except perhaps real sims is no worse than playing on the keyboard, just heave to learn how to tap properly. Hated playing grid on a pad worked much better on keyboard imo.

Because with a pad you get an almost infinite adjustment for steering and acceleration without tapping a button like a mad man to achieve the same (but never quite as good) effect. You can hold the steering right or left at 10%, 30%, whatever%, same for acceleration making minor subtle adjustments with decreased chance of overcooking it.

I'l be VERY surprised if (for example) you can drift better with a keyboard than with a pad. The trigger for acceleration is an absolute must, on off on off on off with the throttle is no good at all!

i almost bought a steering wheel / pedals JUST for this game..

currently using the 360 pad, it looks great :) and visually stunning, it's a good game to show off the pc to your console loving friends :p

bought it & Xbox pad & Lara Croft Underworld

Good man!

With keyboard you dont get the adjustable anolouge control you do than with a 360 pad, with a keyboard its either on or off! you dont get to vary your accelaeration which is very improtant

good game i thought!

couldnt finish the last ravenwest level, but i'm not too good at racing games, i managed to get through it with the traction control on lol

i really enjoyed it, looks fantastic too, wired xbox 360 pad for me!!

cracking game with stunning visuals and not just some crud port from the consoles

plug in a G25, use the manual gear settings and go for it !!!
