GRID2 Cheating me?

O i wouldn't know how to do anything like that.

I have uninstalled Steam and GRID2 and NET.Framework with a registry cleaner. Going to reinstall Steam and grid and see if it fixes anything.

The only things i have installed on my PC are ATI Drivers,Utorrent, Firefox, VLC, Itunes, Steam/GRID and had to install NET.Framework. (had to install registry cleaner and fraps last night to, because of this problem)

Can't see any of these programs being a problem though? Still uninstalled the framework thing as that is the only alien thing i have installed on the PC.

Will see after work if any of this has worked.

Also if it helps, i have a MSI GX660R and have updated to the latest ATI drivers. Could this be a problem?

From the answers given here I think they'd be better off removing opponents from the game and simply comparing times at the end, they seem to be allowing people to interact (i.e. crash into, overtake etc) yet those action and placements are disregarded and it's put down to a decision by the server, which is possibly open to manipulation depending on what data it uses to set the times.

Does make the entire thing seem a bit pointless, glad I haven't bought Grid 2 yet.

i've said it already, but just to repeat.

he has opponents warping and disappearing on the track, so there is something wrong with his network connection to the server, because that should not be happening.

Would putting my PS3 in DMZ have anything to do with it?

Never had cars jumping about in any other games I have had. GRID 1,Shift 1-2, N4S etc... Will have to see when I get home if deleting a re-installing has done anything.

The only thing I can suggest is trying a wired connection to see if that helps. The most likely reason would be some sort of lag issue between the client and the server.

Well just got back in. The game is still being a pure bell....

Going to try a wired connection now and see if that sorts anything.

Right, reset my router. See if that does anything.

What about opening ports? Will that help? If so, does anyone know which ports need opening?

Right, i am in a server now and they are all crying saying i am a hacker and have a fast start hack.

I clearly havent as didn't even know you could hack online games these days. I have noticed i do get a better start than everybody else though, every race. Does this tell anyone anything? Any ideas?

You're clearly lagging hard, those cars at the start were teleporting all over the place. You also corner very badly - you aren't winning any races like that :p

Looks like you're playing scalextric. Do you just hold down accelerate and watch it go around the track or what? Driving mechanics look terrible. :p

2nd video i was going soft to make sure i didnt hit any walls :p

First video is how it is ment to be done ;)
