Grimm

I quite like Grimm as light entertainment. It's not as good as Supernatural but it's OK. The one thing that does bug me is that Nick's other half would make a far better Grimm than he does.

Think I managed 4 episodes before I gave up.

About what I managed...

Having said that, I very nearly did the same with Arrow - which would have been a huge mistake.

Does this show manage to turn itself around at all? Or is it pretty much just more of the same?

It just gets awesome ...... they build up the mythology and it all makes sense. The characters actually progress and the chemistry between Nick & Monroe gets a lot better. Season 2 turns around Hank and Juliette, makes you actually care for them. Poor Sergeant Wu always has no clue but its funny to watch :D

I'd disagree with the above poster.

I WANT to like Grimm, i really do. They've had a good opportunity with the mythos/world building to get some truly interesting story arcs, but it's not being used.

The best bit used to be pilates wolf (Monroe) but even he's dropped by the wayside in terms of screentime.

It doesn't help that the main character has almost no screen presence.

TLDR: no, it hasn't got better. Yet.
