I remember being 13, coming home from school and seeing the smoke pouring from the first tower on the news. Me and my dad were watching in disbelief at what we thought at the time was a tragic accident, until the second plane struck and finally the collapse.

It was something I will never forget and I cant imagine what it would have been like for the victims and those who saw it unfold first hand.

RIP to all who were lost.

Was there a few weeks ago, so sad. Such an eerie feel to the place, loads of people taking selfies felt like an attraction more than a memorial.

It's 'murica, everything is an attraction.

Also i wouldn't be surprised if there was some dissonance with the fact that a relatively large swath of land is "wasted" on a memorial, when an office building could make billions instead.

Yea when i was there a few months back people where doing the same. very lame.

i had my camera with me of course but did not want to take pics directly inside the place as u can see.

Wasn't in the mood and its not the place to do so. Was very sad and heartbreaking visiting the place.

Was there longer then expected as well.

I visited the place multiple times. The night shots where done on two occasions. First night i was there i stumbled across it and then i also went up the new trade centre too on another occasion.

matter of fact let me dig out the pics from that
