Group A RS500?

recently i was given a stack of old touring car videos, loved them all. the sierra was stunning to watch. amazing to see some ae86s racing in a lower class too!
 
am i alone in finding it funny its sponsored by labbatts and has dont drink and drive plastered all over it :p

Really? I can't find anything on t'interweb that says that, but it's an interesting idea.

I had always thought that to get away with the contradictory beer/car message they'd put the slogan on.

not anywhere near as ironic as cigarette packets that have "SMOKING KILLS" on that you can only read after you've bought them

alcohol free and, as a bonus, taste free....unless of course you like the subtle taste of a cocktail of manure and bitumen that is.


Labatts brew regular beer.

the Cosworth was the first production car to produce over 100BHP/Litre.
back then it just wasn't possible to use a high enough level of engineering whilst remaining cost effective AND reliable by road car standards on a dealer forecourt car.

i was sure the charade gtti was the first production car to get 100 bhp per litre, they just pipped bmw i think :confused:
