Looks quite good.

I am guessing it is just a very "weak" paint that dries very very slowly in your car's colour. So when you rub it into the paint work it just fills in the obviously exposed holes that it can "stick" to easily. Then you just wipe off the excess with a damp cloth?

How +/- am off the ball park here?

The damp cloth is a solvent soaked cloth, that removes the "chip" paint, but not the actual paint/clearcoat from your car. The "very very slowly" bit isn't actually that slowly, 12 hours seems to be about the ultimate length of time to leave the paint to semi-dry, before buffing the excess off with the solvent on a cloth.

But other than that, pretty good guesstimate.

As far as I can tell its just normal paint mixed to your cars code, their actual system is the blending solution that you use to get rid of the excess paint/blend it in
