Does anyone know how to make a batch file run at startup on a organisational unit using a GPO?

I have a batch file that deletes a number of shortcuts from users pc's but I need to run it on the startup of each machine and I was wondering if there was a way of doing so using a GPO

Thanks

create a group policy linked to the OU.

For startup/shutdown scripts you go to Computer Configuration, Windows Settings, Scripts.
For logon/logoff scripts go to User Configuration, Windows Settings, Scripts.

Double click on the one you want, i.e. logon and add the batch file into the dialogue box.

Make sure the GPO applies to the users or computers in question and jobs a goodun.

When you get to the dialogue box to add the batch file there's a 'view files' button. Click this and you'll open a folder in your Sysvol directory. copy the batch file here, close the folder (remember the path) and then add it to the dialogue box.
