I'm running a few things on my computer that are cluttering up the bar at the bottom of my screen. Is it possible, with a program or another way, to group them all together or move them into 1 icon in the task bar?

Say that to 1 icon, or any other ways to tidy it up a bit?

I've got 4 cmd box's running, would be great to have them moved away somewhere

Right click on the Start button and click Properties/Taskbar and tick the "Group Similar Taskbar Buttons" option :)

Tried this and it didn't work, it works for msn convo's browser windows though.

Is there a way to group items that are not similar ? Maybe I need some extra program ?

If you don't need them to be in the task bar at all then maybe a process hider. Or try to find a program to remove the entries from the taskbar

Or use xNeat windows manager, it adds loads to the default behaviour, i can't go without it now!

Middle click closes, you can move things around, high show windows send anything to the tray change process priority of windows/programs, make anything stay on top or semi transparent etc... Tonnes of features that windows should already have! :D
