Groupon Serrano/Ibérico ham offer

Just ordered an Ibérico ham through Groupon. £60 for a 4kg ham, a stand, knife, 500ml olive oil and a DVD - 67% off. Looking forward to tucking into that when I get home from Egypt.

That does look good. How long would the ham last as that's a fair bit to get through?

They last a surprisingly long time. My parents used to bring one back from Spain when they went on holiday. Probably took 2-3 months to get through. Remember its been hanging for a long time before its sold.

I don't know if they mean it will last for 18 months or not, that seems excessive. Maybe I'm misunderstanding but can't think how else to interpret it.

Mine arrived today too. Have to say the stand isn't as nice as the one in the advertisement picture but I didn't buy it for the stand!
