Growing up beyond Sonos - streaming Hifi considerations?

It's the host service required for the physical squeezeboxes to point to, without it they're dumb devices like computer terminals.

It's like having old school computer terminals connecting to a central network server.

Rather having the computing and is on the device it's on the Nas.

You install and setup Lms. Point to the local internal Nas drive let it scan the files, connect squeezeboxes to your lab, point it to the Synology Nas then you can configure each Squeezebox from display, audio output, replaygain, configure plugins in
Ok, it sounds sort of like an open source roon minus some better searching and plug and play.

I’ve done a google and it looks like there are plugins for Qobuz and I assume there are plugins for tidal and Spotify etc?

I've done a bit of googling and if I have understood it correctly I simply:

  1. install LMS onto my Synology box as per your link
  2. Dig out a Ras Pi 3 and my Hifiberry Gigi+ Pro and case
  3. Install picoreplayer as the client on the Pi
  4. Buy ipeng app from apple store to control the client picoreplayer headlessly.
  5. profit?????

It appears Tidal Hifi and spotify and Deezer are supported by first party apps. Just trying to confirm Qobuz as I'll probably go with that.
