they don't survive well.
FRUMP
can cause dust issues inside case after a while.
I was thinking, can you get cathodes that are like those jobbies they have in chippies that fry flies?

Take the plastic case off the outside of your cathode, leaving the wire exposed, and you have one. Just don't touch it. Or let anything else touch it in your case. Or anything at all.

yes we would get a nsaty shock but it couldbe the next gen computer security device and my case is perspex :P

Not the ones we got at work, the light just attracts them, then when they are buzzing around happily they fly into the electrified mesh beside it. Although they must be passing notes to each other, coz i mostly see them flying near but not into it lol

Simple just get some electric fencing set-up in your rig

Think yourself lucky, i got a small bug behind my TFT screen, i was watching it crawling around and praying it didnt die behind the screen, and thankfully it didnt.

I wonder how well a moth would fair against a Delta? ;) :p
My main amd rig which sits in an old school coolermaster 201 used to house 4x80mm deltas. 2 were at the front with the front grille+filter removed. Suffice to say the airflow was hysterical, as a wormhole developed at the rear of the pc.

The front of the pc has a lot of bl00 neon leds so it attracted moths and flies horribly. If a moth got too close all you'd see was a split second puff of smoke/dust outside the fan as it got sucked in and shish kebabed within. It's the main reason why I replaced them and refitted the front grille on last winter :)

Quite amusing until you open up your pc for spring cleaning only to find it packed with insect debris and moth heads everywhere!
