Just come home from the pub, switched my light on in my room and the bulb has gone. And guess what ?? We have no darn spares :(

Still I guess it's going to make me learn how to touch type :D
hahaha noob. I have about 3 spares of everything.

what is it? A perl or a screw cap? I couldlend you one, but it'd cost.... £30/day rental? I think that's fair.

You're not using them for disco lights are you? I use energy savers everywhere with very few problems. Just as well as two of them don't like being changed - or rather I don't like changing them.

No they just never seem to last very long at all.

Every one of those daft things we've had has not lasted a month, sad but very true.

That is weird, I mean, don't expect them to last a decade, but they must last at least a couple of years...

Somehting's wrong with either your wiring or the current in your area if you're burning out energy savers in a month. Lots of spikes will kill them.

On another note, since I last changed my ceiling light it occassionally flickers, and sometimes goes out for a few minutes or so and hten comes back on of its own accord. It's not the fuses, and it's not a blackout either because all the sockets work, so I'm stumped.
