i was runining XP pro, LFS build and suse enterprise server on a laptop...
I decided to get rid of suse and just use XP and LFS dual boot...

I deleted the suse partition and booted off my LFS CD.
I ran grub with normal switches to install the boot loader as I've done thousands of times befor...

Except now, when I try to boot off HD I get a blank screen with the curser flashing in the top left...

I have re-done grub with the same result...

Does anyone have any ideas?

thanks

use the latest version of super grub disk to see if you can boot manually to LFS & windows.
if this works use it to install grub with those settings again, and all should be working again.

my god.... it is a super grub disk....
I don't yet know what all the options are for yet... but, my god!

It's one of those god disks... sent from the penguin himself as a reward for our hard work...
