Just wondering if OcUK will be stocking Gskill's DDR2 range, specifically the F2-8000PHU2-2GBHZ model.

Rated speeds for the F2-8000HU2-2GBHZ are 4-4-4-5 DDR1000, seem like very nice modules. :)

Any indication on what these might cost? (roughly)

It seems to me that the high end 2Gb DDR2 kits are still VERY expensive - I'm hoping the prices will start to come down as DDR2 moves a bit more mainstream and DDR starts to fade away.....

Anyone seen any indication of predicted DDR2 pricings for say August/Sept time by any chance?

Because of the ease to make modules run that fast, the tighter the timings means the need for better chips and more volts, the timings are getting better now with 667 sticks having 3/2/2/8 timings and 800 sticks having 3/3/3/8 timings, as someone said above when it becomes more mainstream and ddr1 starts to fade, the prices will become more competitive.

Really nice sticks indeed.

I hope that OcUK do stock them. Would be ideal for Intel and AM2 systems. Seems to be the memory to have atm.

much does this go for retail? is it cheaper than those ocz sticks £372

They're currently for sale in the states for $489. The other model, the F2-8000HU2-2GBZX (DDR1000 5-5-5-15) are slightly less at $469.

Yeah. Just pricing up a conroe upgrade and it is close to the 2 grand mark. :(
That's really poor . . I was looking forward to a conroe system but surely that's slightly extortionate, as I was hoping to spending half of my budget on dual screen or one huge one.

well once its converted to pounds it will be dearer than those OCZ modules @ £372 it would make sense since its better ram.

£400 for 2x 1gb modules, seen you amd guys coming :D

HI there

All the G.Skill most popular 2GB kits now on the website!!! The price of the PC2-8000 is expensive but very competitive!!

However the PC2-6400 and PC2-5400 are not only the cheapest kits at those speeds we have to offer but they also have better timings making them faster modules. G.Skill again doing a great job at offering the fastest modules but at affordable prices. :)
