Pro Ferrari driver: Ferrari 599 too difficult to drive in GT HD, given more power

The following chap may just look like a regular guy out on a fun day out at the race track but he is infact professional Ferrari race car driver Brunno Senna. He commented that GT HD is a good game but the misrepresentation of the Ferrari 599 quite simply sucks. Senna believes that the 599 in GT has been made overly difficult to drive even with racing tyres on and it as if the car has been given far more power than it actually does have in real life.

GT is supposed to be a sim, and a Ferrari driver is saying the car is not a reflection of the real thing at all - I think it's worth him raising the issue, don't you?

Not really - I don't get that anal with driving games. And please dont misquote the original article.
 
Stop the press no one buy GT5 (even though this is gt HD different game) :rolleyes: I wonder what he would think of some of the other car racing sims about? The 599 has a bit to much power and it makes it handle differently, if you know much a PD then in GT5 it will be perfect (well as close as your going to get). On GT4 i have owned/driven several cars in that game and most drove pretty much as i remember when standard, PD probably spend more time with the cars than any other driving game maker, they have a huge garage with many of the cars being used in the game so they can get it spot on. didnt they last time go round and record all the engine sounds from all the cars in GT4 just to get the sound spot on? GT HD is not a proper PD game it was a demo of sorts, an HD version of the GT4 engine and the 599 being put in was a rush look we got Ferraris now , he thinks the games is good, but doesnt like how the 599 drives oh well.
