IS amazing! Nvidia and rockstar got it right straight out the box, great scaling and gpu usage and shocked at how good it is

Hopefully this is a sign that SLI is coming back to form and they are going to really push for support

Aye, Crossfire scaling is great in the game too. Definitely impressed with Rockstar for how well GTA V runs and looks, a different world to GTA IV in my experience.

Well done Rockstar, Nvidia and AMD on this one, so nice to get a AAA title right at launch for 99.9% of people (figure plucked out of thin air, but feels about right).

Amazing what can happen when all parties spend more time on just making a game work no pun intended rather than trying to see how much they can shaft the other company like many of the Gameworks titles. Companies like Ubisoft being paid off time and time again is not good for gamers apparently.

It was so refreshing to see R* state they are not trying to sell AMD or NVIDIA hardware.

“As we have said before, we are not in the business of making or selling hardware – we want everyone to be able to experience the games we make.”

It's a shame this sort of attitude is an exception not the rule.

See it's weird, I have SLI and a both enabled and disabled I'm getting some stutter. Neither of my Titan X's are getting a huge work out (50% on each card in SLI). I have no idea what it could be.

Its nice they've got it sorted out the box but to be honest, it bloody well should be! Its been two year nearly since I played this. Obviously its a much superior version but games get made from scratch in less time these days.

Will this be the first game that unplayable @1400p with reasonable settings on my trusty 780 I wonder? I'm due an upgrade but so far haven't felt the need

mouse from raw to direct should do the trick

Thanks that did help my mouse issue.

Trouble is I can't play at 60hz for some reason. Only 59. I know that shouldn't make much difference but on my monitor that causes real stutter for some reason. If I create a custom res (1 pixel up on length/width) and choose 60hz it works perfectly with no stutter, but the image is slightly blurry.

I seen on a YouTube video that for some reason sli titan x's where only sitting at 75% usage for some reason the guy was saying it only happens at 1440p for whatever reason.

The guys YouTube account is sloppywetblow if you want to look it up

My first question for any new game and SLI now is - is there any STUTTER?

Good scaling is all well and good, but if there's micro stutter it will join my growing list of games I don't play. I'm sick of having to run games on just one card, because they actually run smoother than two (780ti SLI on a rog swift by the way).

On one hand its great, and im glad it works perfectly with awesome performance. But on the other hand its kinda bad we all get excited and praise them for something that should be standard across all gaming companies.

Getting great performance at 2560x1440, SLI, G-Sync, 144hz, no stutter, looks amazing.

Is that 980 SLI fella, like in your sig?

Assuming this game isn't locked to 60fps (is it???) could you tell me what sort of framerates you're getting. 780ti SLI should be fairly similar.
Also, what Vram usage are you seeing, if you know?

You know what, that's a really good point. We've got so used to badly running/ optimised games, when one is released that 'works' everyone thinks it's amazing. Very sad really considering the multi billion pound industry that gaming is. Every ****ing game should 'work right'.

Yes, 980 SLI, stock clocks. Game runs at 144hz, indoors 144fps, outdoors avg 80-100fps, can tank to low 60's very occasionally. Vram seems to combine the figure in the options menu, can't remember exactly but 6ish I think.
