GTA IV still runs like utter **** though. Doesn't matter what setting I choose, frame rates fluctuate from very high to very low for no apparent reason.

Awful port, really is.

I can run GTA IV fine, looks ok still.

It was designed for 3 CPU cores on Xbox 360 I believe, then the port to the PC didn't really change much hence it runs very strangely.

I remember it running smooth on a 9800GTX, E8500 @ 4.2GHz, that was all max at 1080 I believe.

funny enough my steam version at some point got updated and merged into a complete version. And now when I start a game I can hear the audio in the first cutscene but my monitor just goes black. Guess I won't be replaying this one.
