I have it on the 360 as well, and it runs just as bad, just no one complains when they can't run fraps on that

Seriously just start a new game and move camera view around those docks and tell me you think its over 30fps ?

Anyway - if you want a fair comparison to how well an XBox runs it, set the graphics settings to the following, because this is all that the Xbox runs it at (taken from this post:

Xbox 360 settings
Resolution 1280 x 720 @ 20 -30 fps
Texture Quality Medium
Reflection Resolution Medium
Water Quality Medium
Shadow Quality High
Render Quality Low
View Distance 21
Detail Distance 10
Vehicle Density 33
Shadow Density does not exist on the Xbox 360
Definition off
Vsync off

That should give you a good basis to start from (ie, as good as a 360 looks!)

(first tip - turn Definition ON by pressing "P")

i use,

q6600 overclocked to 3.6
8gb ram (win 64)
GTX 480 (needs more than 1gb to max it out on full mostly due to the shadow quality settings and draw distance slider)

Mine plays great.

So, who are we talking to here, B&W or his cousin. Why doesn't B&W's cousin get his own account, it's not difficult. Why doesn't B&W's cousin buy something on the members market and not pay for it and then B&W will get the blame.

Also, GTA4 runs fine on my P.C. but then my CPU is overclocked and i have a GPU which has more then 1Gb of memory which helps in this game.

Graphics card is fine, he does need 4GB RAM and to overclock his CPU, but it's a crap port anyway, that's the main problem.

It runs like a turd on my machine too but games like Witcher 2 run smooth as silk. I believe ATI users suffer much worse than Nvidia users. It's a bad console port.

Education time - You don't bring things from the members market you buy them so you need to start saying bought instead of brought.

Secondly, you imply that you are B&W but how can anybody be sure now that you have stated that two people use the same account. So, what does B&W stand for, Bertrand and winifred? Maybe you should start each post with "Hi, this is Bertrand" and your cousin could start each post with "Hi, this is winifred".

Am i alone in thinking that B&W is wrong? Can a mod tell us? Why does the cousin not have his own account (maybe he did and was permabanned)?
