I am 30% through and kinda bored. Seems like a chore to continue. I take Taxis to all missions to save time.

Anyone else?

The game itself is not turning into a chore yet for me apart from babysitting all the "friends" etc. But, as I just said in the main thread, one mission has become a chore for me and I wish I could skip it.

Some of the missions are really annoying. The car chases turn into snore fests pretty fast, seems to be traffic always gets in your way but theres about zero chance of the person you're chasing slaming into a wall or another car or whatever. Even when im chasing someone with a cop car siren blaring the traffic seems to be slower in getting out of my way just because im chasing someone.

i wouldnt really call it a chore but i just cant get the motivation to pick it up, i dont know why i enjoy it, it just doesnt seems to be lacking somthing to make me wanna keep going on it, not to say in any way is it a bad game just not the best out there.

Shoot out their tyres and the car chases are easy as!

im enjoying it but get annoyed to easily at niggling missions, like snow storm three attempts and i still cant finish it, ive tried shooting my way out against police but they seem to just keep coming and ive tried running

tbh, once you get to around 40% you'll find the game a lot more fun,I did atleast. Up until 40% it's the same, go to this place, kill this guy. But once you start doing missions for bernie, jimmy, derrick. It becomes a lot more fun.

I completed it and loved it. The missions were not as interesting as they could have been, with the exception of a few good ones.

I felt that car chases within missions were too scripted, there were some cool moments because of this but Iwul have preferred random car chases rather than ones with loads of scripted events, where you can't actually catch the person. It is more a case of keeping up with them until you reach a checkpoint to trigger the next part of the mission.

I rejected all invitations from friends to do anything after the first couple of times. It got very annoying hearing from them all.

The taxi's are awesome, but I couldn't help take them the majority of the time, which I felt was a bit of a shame.

I never even bother anymore.. was fun at first.. now its just some type of boring chore :|

Always reject and they dont ring anymore. :)

I'm 35% into it and the story at this point isn't all that great. I also just take taxi's everywhere now because driving there takes too long. I'm going to stick through it because I've got this far. I liked it when Roman was in the story more, now he is just calling me up to go to the strip club every 5 minutes. lol.

Why are people complaining about babysitting their friends? This isnt compulsary, you can be affirmative and say no, its only a computer game, you wont hurt rockstars feelings.

People complaining about the missions, the hint is in the name of the game, driving and shooting, what else did you expect? If you want more guidance and things put infront of you so you dont actually have to make an effort to complete a game then go play cod4.

If you cant be bothered taking the time to appreciate the many small things in this game which sets it apart from all the other games, then dont bother playing it.

O rly? Thats great news for me as I'm at 35% and felt like I've seen everything the game has to offer. :D

Find most of the missions pretty good. The snowstorm mission was pretty good and not overly hard.

The taxis are a godsend!

I remeber playing san andreas I got so frustrated having to drive everywhere only to get run over die and have to drive for ages again!
