Any idea how it will run on current systems (not 8800 cards or 6600 conroes lol) but high (not enthuiast class) comps like a x1950pro 512mb, and 3500+ cpu and 2gb ram.

I think it will probably play fine. Mate snowdog doesnt lol dont know why since you can play high poly games smoothly these days.

There's no way of knowing Skeeter.

Using the past as an example I reckon that it'll be very scalable. Maybe medium settings considering your proc?

It's all speculation right now.

Bleh, that was very pretty and whatever, but I'd have preferred some gameplay footage. Completely uninformative.

From Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Theft_Auto_IV):

"Rockstar has stated that all the trailer's footage is generated real-time via the game's engine RAGE, running on an actual game console, and that it was not pre-rendered. Whether the footage is running on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 has yet to be specified."

Was that for LA Noire or GTA IV though?

Oh, and when I said gameplay footage, I meant someone playing the game, not engine footage.

The graphics look absolutely awesome! And if this is running on a ps3/ 360 just imagine what we can achieve on high end pcs? I've played all the games in the series right from GTAI through to GTA:SA, If the gameplay is similar to any of the previous games in the series, this is definately something to look out for, thanks for the heads up on the trailer!

pfft

Did i forget to mention all those that i played in the past were ALL on my pc and great games?

Don't put down something that you haven't tried yet, nevermind not even released yet.

A crap and poor performing port?

The GTA's have always been brilliant ports. The amount of graphics options you get is ridiculous when compared to the average console port.

Look so much better with the frame limiter, AA and draw distance turned up.

San Andreas is underrated graphically imho. :)

Did anyone else think the bloke reminded them of the sniper from "Behind Enemy Lines"? Especially with the blue tracky-b's! :p
