GTA: San Andreas help please

Incidentally my version of the game has the latest patch applied. I don't know if you do, and whether there is an incompatibility between saves with or without the patch? Just a thought.

As far as I know :) It is a legal copy of the game, bought and paid for. The only thing is I am using a no-CD exe, but I'm not sure how that would cause a problem. So once you remove my save game from the folder, the game works without crashing? How strange. Well thanks for the time you've taken to try this for me anyway mate, looks like it wasn't to be! :D

Perhaps Kainz or someone else would like to give it a shot?
 
DD, give me a shout on here if you email me the savegame, because SA is installed on XP, which I'm on right now. I dual boot between the Vista and XP. The latter has no email access setup atm.

Can't believe I just died on the first mission escaping the ballas on bike :o
 
Yep, go for it. Just booting back into vista now. Just need to get used to SA's controls again lol
 
Hmm crap. I'm getting crashes too as the loading screen finishes just like the Monkee :(
I'm runnning the very early non-censored SA with a nocd too.

Just going to see if deleting the .set file works - damn, that didn't work :(

You're not the only one. I've helped peeps with loads of savegames before without any issues.
 
Can you email the save file back to me - at least we can rule out any problems with file corruption occurring during the email journey. I'll see if it still works for me.
 
It still works for me so I'm well and truly stumped here

I was gonna suggest I give you my gtasa.exe file in case there is something unique about the version I'm running, but it's 15 megs so probably not a great idea :p
