GTA V recommended specs released

I don't think the specs will be as mental as most are predicting. It looks and runs really well on a ps4 considering it has the power roughly of a 7850 (I think?). The rest just hinges on rock star not arsing up another pc game.

Yea was well impressed with the ps4 version , however it does suffer from occassional microstutter. But nothing major.
 
It makes sense as the recommended specs are about the level of a PS4 or what new games require for 1080p on high settings.

Looking forward to this and should be out just as I finish Dragon Age.
 
This game has had so many false rumours, another won't hurt. All the early reports were Mantle support and how far wrong was that? :D
 
Anything over 1080p might need 3.5gb of Vram and 4k might use 6.5gb making everyone upgrade.

I will be buying it but not on release day, Maybe wait a couple of weeks to see if there is many bugs and to see if they did a good job on it.

Can't remember who it was, but someone put some really good frame analysis of gta5 on the ps4 & xbo on YouTube. I would say the stutters are when it occasionally drops below 30fps, I'll try find the video.
 
It's already in the PC Gaming section. We berated it there as we have here. :D

I can also see this being a very good port.

I can also see this being absolutely god awful. Worse than Ass Creed Unity, BF4 and GTA IV combined (including uplay, origin and GFWL at the same time).
 
I believe 100% this time it will.. RockStar have had much more time with the RAGE engine to bring it up to standards now.. Games Like Max Payne 3 and LA Noire have shown this..

The problem with GTA4 the Engine was using max Dual Core and Single GPU config anything more than Dual core performance was worst.. You gained more performance by forcing the game to use dual core.

This isn't an issue with the games above.

You then also have the added fact the PS4 and Xone One version is basically already a PC version anyway..
 
You can unlock it.. But that's not what I talking about. Am talking about how the engine now uses more of the pc hardware compared to how gta4 did.

La noire uses the hardware much better, agreed 30fps was a joke but that doesn't mean it's a bad port.
