Where do you think R* should go with the new one, which no doubt is already in production?

I'd love the location to primarily be set in Las Venturas (Vegas). I know this was one of the three locations in SA, but it was seriously rubbish. The casinos weren't in the right order, it was small and boring, just rubbish really. I'd want it as realistic as possible, with the Bellagio fountains, as well as other things.

They could really make it a brilliant location, with areas such as the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Area 51, etc. but only as long as it's realistic, and not like it was in SA.

Then there's the storyline. It could be centered around some 'casino owner mafia boss' type person, whom the main character owes a duty towards. Lots of ideas really.

Where would you like it to set?

Yakuza themed, Tokyo would be cool but they'd have to make everyone speak English which would seem odd.

Oh and add a bunch of mini-stuff such as the drug dealing from Chinatown Wars and some of the stuff from San Andreas, I also expect the next game to have a good frame rate...

While that would appeal to me and could make for an interesting game, I'd like to see the game set somewhere other than the USA for a change. I'm not entirely sure where I would like to see - GTA London wasn't particularly interesting from what I remember but it was 2D style GTA and also a long time ago - but I think London could be good if done properly. Could make for some interesting storylines with chavs on the streets etc :)

GTA Europe would be awesome. Sounds wierd but my main gripe with GTA IV was the lack of variation in the landscape. I'd love an open expanse of countryside, similar to the desert in SA.

If they had cities connected by trains, plains and automobilies on a larger scale than SA i'd be happy.

this, or VC remake, nothing else would be acceptable (i'd still buy it though)

Or GTA LONDON! :O

But omg! Italian mafia!

Another thing they could include this time, like SA, is the ability to modify your vehicles, as well as go to the gym, have tattoos, etc.

Not sure why they didn't include any of this in IV. Whilst it's only a small thing, it still added realism.

I imagine the next one will be GTA IV: <city name goes here> based on the 3 previous games

GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas.

I'd also imagine more 'features' (or fun things as some of you call them) returning.

GTA III (Liberty City circa 2001) had sod all in the way of fun stuff to do and you never complained :p

My moneys on San Andreas or Vice City :)

What being able to have your skinhead turned into an afro at the barbers added realism?

They need to bring back the tow truck / forklifts etc that all work, i'm really cheesed off you can't use little features like this!

Would love to see either GTA Vice City (shame it won't be 80's though :(

Or GTA London would be great.

I would like the fifth game to either be centered on the Yakuza or Triads.

Yakuza would just be awesome in the sense that we could get a high-tech neon filled Tokyo style city. Clans, honour, katanas, modern day ninjas and ricer boy import cars would probably be the usual stuff.

After how well Chinatown Wars is doing on the DS, makes me want to see a bigger grand scale version with the Chinese Triads, "Young and Dangerous" style :D.

Of course the only gripes with this will be the English voice acting with the hilariously bad stereotypical accents.

The game should not move to Europe, ever. An American setting just fits for this style of game.

I'm with some of the posters above. I would be happy for a Vice City remake, but would love a game on the scale of San Andreas.
