Trailer looks really good - I do hope they don't make a mess of the PC port like they did with GTA4. It might have run great for YOU, but it sure as hell didn't for far more people than those who didn't experience issues.

There are some any good games out atm and still to come, i had forgotten about this but the announcement/trailer has blown everything else out of the water!

Even today GTA4 runs less than 60fps, mostly less than 50 in fact on my i5 4.3GHz and GTX460 OC. It was and still is well known as a badly coded engine :p

Thankfully sounds like GTA 5 changes all that.

it was also terribly coded and slow as hell even on quads these days you wont get over 64fps.

Yeah but he said it was a bad console port. The 360 has slowdowns at -30. I think the max it will run at is just 30fps. The PC version blows console versions out of the water by almost double the framerates and better graphics with everything on high. We did get the better version, also we get the mods, batman for the win on gta4 :)

Factor in cost of Xbox/PS3 <£200 compared to a high end gaming PC >£1200 and was it worth it for 20 more FPS? :p

LOL well if you think about it like that then no :p

Serious though my rig is only an [email protected], 8gb ram with VTX 6950 2gb and I can play it between 50-60, Still a lot better then the console versions though. Even if it does need a lot more power then the consoles need to run it.
