Already finished it on the Xbox so looking forward to seeing it on the PC.

Holding off till Jan gives me a great excuse to try and clear my steam back catalogue.

Triple dippers are going to be so ridiculously few that they are barely worth talking about.

Also GTA IV wasn't too hard to run on mediumish settings but nothing can run that game maxed out.

Loving the 360 GTA online malarky at the moment though so maybe that will last.

Yeah I know what you mean, I do it every year with FIFA, "nah not buying it, same as last year" then inevitably I will buy it on release day.

It's been a long enough wait for me already with stopping myself getting it on PS3 so I don't double dip.

Would this game look ok on a 42" 1080p TV? I currently have a 22" monitor, which i dont think will do the game justice, plus i'd like to sit back and relax with a pad to play it. Just wondering if 1080p on such a big screen will defeat the purpose of using a PC rather than a ps4?

Anyone else planning to play it on a TV?

The PC version will look noticeable better on your TV than the PS4 version does.

Assuming you have average specs you will get better framerates, draw distances, anti aliasing etc.

I don't even know if the PS4 version is confirmed for either 1080p or 60fps.

Hopefully someone will make a kick ass MP mod, like SA-MP which thousands of people still play.

Rockstar for some reason are unable to.

Thats something I hadn't thought about, are modern tvs even capable of 60hz?

I think i'll give the TV a try. I'll be buying a 24" monitor at some point, but even that isn't big enough really. Don't want to go to 27" yet as my pc wouldnt do 1440p without lowering some settings, so will stick for 1080p for a few years.

Now just need to wait 106 days, 8 hours, 32mins and 25 seconds

Of course they are, I've been running games through various Plasma TV's for years and they all do 60hz.

I suspect they'll end up being quite similar really, especially considering it's a last-gen console game being given the makeover treatment. The PS4 will handle it with ease.
