I was considering selling my 6Gb 780 as I fell the VRAM is a waste at 2160x1080 but looking at the PC screenshots I'm thinking 'that looks like a LOT of textures and maybe the 6GB might actually come in handy!
 
Some of those screenshots look VERY nice indeed... the problem is the game won't look like that, not in motion as you play it anyway. It's screenshot trickery. Just like Elite Dangerous... you can take AMAZING 4K screenshots using alt+F10, but they look nothing like the game you are playing. All rather underhand if you ask me.

Yeah, and there's a bit of chromatic abbreviation in places too (which I personally don't like).

But I personally think GTA 5 (and most games) look way better in motion - it's really easy to nitpick and notice impurities in a still shot.


BTW you can get a Steam key for £30 at CJS CD Keys, worked for me :D

Its been that way for a decade mate...its called Billy bs shots for media. Easy to max out detail and take a still screenshots.
 
Which is why the trailer is important. May offer insight as to how well it runs.

Perhaps they were waiting for their Titan X's to arrive before recording it :D
