Just got an email from CDkeys:

We anticipate being able to release keys for GTA 5 PC on or most likely before the 11th of April. We understand the game download is very large and we will do our best to ensure all pre-order customers have ample time to pre-load the game in time for the release date (14th of April).

a few people today have already received their keys but we will see.

do you think we would be better off starting another crew along side the main overclockers one for people who are playing on PC?, theres a lot of members on the main OcUK one that we'l never get to play along side as they are console members who have probably moved onto other games

So much fanfare for 4k! I must be one of only a few that actually is pleased for not having 4K but instead 3440x1440 - Means better framerate while at the same time better immersion. A single GTX980 should manage that with aplomb.

Unless there's no native 21:9 support :eek:

Never really played a gta game, always got bored after an hour
Are any of you guys buying this on pc having already played/completed it on console?
If so why?
Is it because of future mods or the better graphics?

I am undecided on this, i have gta iv in my steam but never downloaded it

I had this on the ps3 and ps4 lol. Finished it on the ps3... only played about a third of it on the ps4 and then sold it as I wanted to wait for the pc version.
Better graphics...better framerate and mods are the reason I bought it again. Im hoping for an Icenhancer mod again and other fun mods to mess around on.

I presumed the crew ocuk i joined the other day was just for pc players. I dont think a mixed crew of console players and pc players is workable. If its a mix then im rdy to join a pc only one.

i think they were 250+ strong before any PC players joined up
maybe we'l see if Killswitch wants to admin another crew on the side

I received my key from cdkeys this morning. The Rockstar social club game downloader is a bit up and down speed wise but can't complain really.
Noticed some in game cash bonus as well but perhaps that's what we get for pre ordering anyway?

We could make another crew but the Overclockers UK name has already been taken by the other crew and you can't use hyphens or underscores. :mad:

I can see the merit in having a PC only crew, but on the other hand it means everyone who has requested invites to the crew will then need to request an invitation to the new crew as well. Some people might miss that we've created a new one and the community might get a bit fractured in-game. We could always just delete all the console peasants from the crew...

There is only a level requirement for weapons and weapon mods I believe, everything else can just be bought from the ingame internet thing.
