I with this guy getting it for release, almost ready to pay some daft price for a pre-order special too.

Although, afaik, wasn't GTAIV promoted as the biggest/best thing you could do on the 360/PS3 graphicly (within the realms of sandbox size/no loading games)? So are people expecting an upgrade visually, so far those stills look better than IV by some margin, buy some magic/coding. No idea how they can get this to run well with it also looking better than IV.
 
First of all graphics are highly impressive. I bet these have been taken from high end PC ;). The amount of realism in this game seems astounding. This will be epic.

Avalanche have big challenge on their hands if they want Just Cause 3 to surpass this game.

I doubt I'll buy a console just for this, so here's hoping it'll be released a reasonable time afterwards on PC - can't wait for the modding community to get their hands on it!
 
If they manage to get GTA V looking good on consoles and running at 60fps I may consider it. However if it's at 30fps like most console games I will not be touching it.
 
There is not way in hell this game will run at 1080p or even 720p res at above 30fps on consoles!

It sounds HUGE.

Do you guys play Arma 2 game? the size of this game feels the same as that and for many, Arma 2 is a huge system hog.

i know consoles are optimized but consoles are 5+ year old tech now and i remembered gta4 struggling on a console back when that first came out.

i hope this comes out on pc :)

Really? :confused:

I don't understand why people can't be patient, even though I loved GTA SA and 4, I would never buy a console to play this. Even if I had a console, I would probably wait for the better quality version on PC (if they don't mess up the port).
 
Please tell me this has Jets? the VG247 article mentioned a load of vehicles but not jets :( although we saw one in the trailer, and in a previous screenshot, this however, i like;

"Los Santos is bigger than Red Dead Redemption, San Andreas, and Grand Theft Auto IV combined. It contains a wilderness, military base, and underwater exploration on the ocean floor."

When is the release date? too lazy to check internet, Autumn 2013 isnt it ?

They is no way on earth them screens are from console version. I recently switched from PS3 and all games are blur mess. Big hitters 680p res and 30fps Hell GTA4 struggled.
