There will be a snow mod just for us! Give it a couple of months and this game will look amazing with the Icehancer type stuff!

I used W,A,S,D for GTAIV when I got my pc, found driving with it must easier - the driving in 5 was different somehow, not sure which will be better, but as my pad is 3inches from my KB I will just use it for driving and KB for shooting!

It's not that I can't do it , more the fact it lacks feedback of any kind which is needed more so than fps , aswell as I can make far more minuite adjustments of steering with anoulouge sticks . The constant tapping a or d just to make any little adjustments is tedious , especially when I want to drive like a non-nutter

Yes £30, but prices are going up. Cdkeys.com had it on for £30 and now it has gone up to £33. Gamestop still has it on for £30 though.
 
I've got the rift and steering wheel ready for this game. Will leave it a couple of months for mods and rift support and then will live in this game
 
I wonder if the online will be modded, like San Andreas was (SAMP). The days of playing with 200+ people on a completely modded server were awesome. :D

Hey guys. Can any one comment on the car handling that's played the console version? I was hoping it would be a step up from 4 but I've been hearing its a little flat and arcadey. I hope this isn't true.
 
I had no problem with car handling, I had the game and completed to see 1 ending on the PS3 and found the cars to drive a bit better in fact than in GTA4. Damage model is better too as is collision detection.

That depends IMO if you use 3rd person cam it feels empty but in first person I thought it was a pleasant experience
 
Any idea if dedicated servers we can host/pay for are a possibility? Got a few people in the org that will be getting this so we'd be keen if that turned out to be an option!
 
Watched GTAV O'clock on youtube yesterday who said that R* came out on the R* forums and said that PC Release in confirmed as 27/01/15.

I can't link the vid or the forum post as on mobile but they show the forum post on there.

Still want specs, I think we will get them next week along with a gameplay trailer.

I think specs have been mentioed repeatedly on the last 40 or so pages, so yeah I think some people really do care what the specs are.

People will half decent rigs should be fine but I think the people with slightly less spec rigs will want to know before splashing £30 on a game they may not be able to run.

Am I the only one who prefers the handing of IV , V driving has grown on me but its not as good Imo , this was designed more for stunts etc
