I've been hearing that the damage effects in V are not as good as they were in IV, but it does say that it will be improved on the PC version so let's see.

Two things having not played a GTA game in a long time:

Do people recommend opting for a single player play through before going online?

Can you switch on the fly/in game between using mouse and keyboard for first person and then a 360 controller for driving or is this not needed?

How would anyone know this? I still can't believe we don't have a concrete release date. Crazy how long it's took to get a pc version.

Having being forced to complete single player on PS3 first befor online was released was properly a good thing . This is only one of a few games I think story mode is worth it . The characters are enough to draw you in , you do unlock certain multiplayer treats by doing the single player mind .

Where has it been stated multiple times by Rockstar? I've seen 27th on a few sites but the same sites also had it for release in November. I've never seen it officially stated as releasing on the 27th. You can't even pre order on steam, and it says coming early 2015.

Hope it is the 27th though

Yeah I know they stated it a while back. I was alluding to the rumours of a delay (which I see rockstar have now denied) and the lack of specs and more info. It's still been a massively long wait for the pc version though. Just hope they have it running good.

Just pre ordered from Amazon, can't wait!

How do CD's work these days? Can I install it just from the disk? The last time I tried installing a disk game it just made me download it with my dreadful speeds

I think it will make you download some files after you've installed it. Amazon will also be selling the digital version which I'll go for. It's currently unavailable for preorder though.

You'll get game disks plus a steam code. Redeem the code and download from steam or use the disks, redeem the code and then install from the disks.

Think I'm going to get a digital copy. My CD Drive is in my sons rig and I can't be bothered to take it out. Lazy I know.

Can't wait to see what the download size will be, I am going to guess 40GB.

Portable external drives are only like £20

( I mostly get digital copies because I cba getting mine out of the man drawer, think Ive only used it twice in a year
