This is my plan, start it at midnight and by 6pm I will have downloaded 38.8GB assuming I get a constant 600KByte/s which is my max speed.

It's no issue if I don't get to play it on launch, I have other things to do.
 
Less that 40GB I would be suprised.

It won't be a 40Gb download though, probably around 70% of that. I'm still tempted to get the physical media tbh, big fan of Steam obviously but with no pre-order up on steam I can't see them doing so.

Assuming it's on time.. :(
 
40GB wouldn't surprise me. I need to order a new SSD I'm fed up of having to delete things all the time, the 1TB Samsung ones look nice.
 
With the luck the person playing on steam will be a dev checking out the performance with steam and the overlays etc!

I have plenty of space and a decent internet connection, shouldn't be a problem.

Just bet steam/R* social club will get a pounding on Tuesday am, think I will leave it until th morning and start it before I go to work.
 
119GB free on the SSD, rock on I say :D Great thing about an SSD, it doesn't get slower the more it's filled up!
