Lets start with Heists – billed as part of the game in the pre-launch hype we all purchased it back in October 2013 only to find there were no Heists, but they were ‘coming soon’. So Rockstar then continually tease the people who purchased this game with ‘coming soon’ and now it’s a year and 3 months on and still no sign of this part of the game that was originally billed as being part of the release of the game. The handling of that was massively frustrating.
Then we have the PC launch. I’m sorry but there is absolutely no way you can realise 2 weeks before the global launch of a product like this that oh actually it’s not going to be finished and is infact going to take a further 8 weeks. For the game to have ever stood a chance of being on shelves worldwide on 27th January it would have been finished, signed off and sealed weeks and weeks ago. They’ve known they were not going to make the release window for ages but instead of announcing it back when it was fairly likely there might be a delay we get led on with rubbish like ‘There are no changes to the release date at this time’.
Then once we reach what any reasonable person would deem the point of no return – 2 weeks to the day before release – oh btw guyz, LOLLLLLLLL, try end of March.
It would be hilariously funny if the firm didn’t rely on the goodwill and hard earned money of those they consistently toy with in this fashion.
I just don’t get it. Why?
To those of you who think this is a good thing because it’ll mean we get a perfect polished game – good luck. Don’t be so naïve. I’ll be amazed if it still doesn’t need a Day 1 patch once it finally comes out in March. The PC version isn’t 18 months behind the console version for reasons of polish and amazingness.
The whole thing is a farce. If I wasn’t such a massive GTA fan and I wasn’t so desperate to play this game properly on PC I’d be inclined not to bother. But Rockstar knows it has fans like us and therefore they know they can treat them with relative contempt and we’ll still pay up.
Sigh.
What you mean like all the exclusives the PC's never see?
Fail logic, but nice try.
There's not a chance the game would have had the budget it did without the draw of console sales.
It does but coming from someone who told me to get off my high horse the other day you don't seem to listen to your own advice.

you know exactly the reason I stated that, you just trying to be clever with that other post. Didn't at that point know anything about you being a console player/pc gamer or whatever, that's completely off topic. And like I said back there, now proven right.

Won't bother pre-ordering now, delay after delay - they can stick their $1,000,000 pre-order bonus where the console kiddies like to be touched!
On that note what cheat system will they use anyone know??

I for one am glad they delayed it... I'm on a weeks holiday when it's scheduled to be released![]()

Your PC doesn't meet the minimum requirements unfortunately. I can offer you £50 to purchase these old parts from you? It'll help towards a new build.
