I love how everyone complains about the delay but also complains when a game is released unoptimized and buggy.

I think it is the nature of how they have done that everyone is disappointed about. 2 weeks before the proposed release date! That has got to be pretty unprecedented!

Ahh... What did I say a few pages back? Knew it always the same with gta games.. ****ing *****s Rockstar are.. That week I booked off to play gta now means I actually have to replace the bathroom ceiling instead... :(

Well the delay isn't surprising. What an absolute joke though, delaying it 2 weeks before it was supposed to be released, and then coming out with "Our apologies for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be." - That's 8 weeks, just say it like it is.

Yes, because they only noticed this morning there were bugs and they wanted to fix them to release a bug free game.

Not.

This is a release of a game that was originally released well over a year ago!

Maybe they thought that they could fix the bugs before release date.. it is possible that the PC version has a lot of bugs.

Ah, I see, so they planned to sign off, start production and produce and ship sufficient produce across the globe in just under 2 weeks.

Rightyo.

People forgot Steam download is not the only way to get certain games it seems.

Good job I've got a new SSD sitting on my desk for this, 65gb is pretty big.

I am excited because it means I get to listen to a higher quality copy of 'Wham - Everything She Wants' whilst Trevor pilots a stolen yacht in his uhm...underwear.

If you have never played GTA V and think thats a bit weird well, you just need to meet Trevor and your threshold on weird will be permanently re-calibrated within the first 30 seconds.

The problem is, look at how many developers use the excuse "game needs to be polished more" yet come launch day, it is still buggy etc. so it isn't unreasonable for myself and others to be wary when this happens now...

;)

Watch Dogs immediately springs to mind. Although that was Ubisoft so it was always going to be buggy, delay or no delay.
