GTA V

Well for me I pre-ordered a few months ago. First, cause I love GTA, and second of all I needed to know I had it because anything can happened before launch.
It was a very good decision as there is no way I could afford it now, maybe not even for another 2 months yet.

Now imagine how awful it would be if people were going 'WOW, Incredible!, Rockstar is made up of Gods, THis game is ******* awesome! etc..
You'd be upset, because you don't have the game, you can't get the game and people are having fun while you sulk.

So pre-ordering GTA V was such a good decision for me, and whatever happens I will not regret it :)

And it will NOT run like GTA IV launch, I think 90% of us are fairly confident on that
Well, it's still a gamble... But I agree with you I am fairly confident it will be amazing.

Why on earth do you all care about the exact time the preload starts? You can't play it for a week anyway!

People can't wait to have the game files on their computer so they can get excited over them.

This...

The GTAV launch is starting to remind me of the egoraptor cartoon with the two dudebros getting Halo reach or whatever it was and then getting all super over-excited and jerking each other off over it... Everyone just needs to calm down already

Maybe it's just for confirmation... Once the files have actually been downloaded, they can't delay it again!:p

That's your own fault really isn't it? Should have just bought the retail box version which was cheaper anyway!
Retail Box version is not on steam
Retail Box version might take days to arrive.
Retail Box version requires a DVD drive.
Retail Box version is not the cheapest.
Retail Box version might still require a huge patch.
Retail Box version might not include any data at all!

Personally I will be getting the steam version and I won't get it until I know that the port isn't garbage.

Mine was £34.99 with 'guaranteed' release day delivery from Amazon. Steam version looks to be more expensive than that. I don't doubt there will be a patch but it wont be a 65gb patch?

The fact its cheaper to buy a physical box that has been printed, produced, packed, shipped around the world, shipped to a hub, delivered to a warehouse, resold, shipped back to a hub, shipped to a depot and then hand delivered to your house highlights how ridiculous the prices of digital distribution games really are.

i bought my digital for £19.50 :p

I'm currently just grinding away on the PS4 ahead of the PC release. Hopefully the $1.2 M pre-order bonus still applies to transferred characters, that'd be sweet!
